Red Smooth Boy
Birthday: July 12, 2022
Vet cleared - Sept. 7th 2022
Sire: Gus (Wire-haired Red) 12 pounds
Mom calls me Gussy. Dad and brother call me Augustus. He is a snuggle bug and will just roll up by your shoulder and sleep. Loves babies! Loves chasing Birds. Gus is an old soul and is just mellow. He is great with all the dogs and is very laid back. He loves to sleep on someone’s chest and takes a nap with the other dogs and loves being one of the family. He was confident and calm. Health: No issues.
Dam: Indie (smooth shaded cream piebald) 15.5 pounds
Very adaptable to any situation. Loves food and humans. She loves being the center of attention and thinks she’s a diva. Loves to cuddle and get loves. She is the alpha and is protective of the other dogs. She likes kids, cats and really any human that says her name and gives her loves. She also loves the outdoors and enjoys going in the car. She also minds very well, if we ask her to stop she does and if ask her to come she comes right away. Health: No issues. Last X-Ray show no calcification in her spine and patellas are tight. Also, PRA Clear.
“Well socialized. Clicker Trained. Loves to run in the grass and between toys. Cuddle time is his favorite.”
Potty Training started with Potty Pads and Pine Pellets
Future puppy Health Issues: It is hard to know exactly what the health of each puppy will be as it truly has so much to do with how they are cared for in their new home. For example, protecting the back and joints from harmful activity is very important and something the adoptive family should be aware of. A dachshund that is overweight can also cause major problems. Keeping to what the breeder recommends on kibble and supplement is so important. High sugar levels can cause diabetes. I am committed to doing everything in my power to ensure that each and every puppy has the best start in life and I stand by my contract when the family follows it exactly.
Comes with AKC Litter Certificate. Pet Only. Contract, Puppy Adoption Pack, Medical Records, small bag of kibble for transition.

"Remy".....Adopted
(Adopted: Adoption Clossed)
This is Sweet Remy Girl
We are currently reviewing families for Remy’s upcoming adoption.
If you read this fully and would like to be considered,
please go directly to our questionnaire and fill out all questions that apply.
(The adoption fee does remain the same as stated on questionnaire.
Please do not fill out questionnaire and then ask for a discount.)
First of all, Remy is the most loving little girl and she will make the most amazing companion.
(Just a side note, Remy is not a rescue dog and has no behavior issues.)
Remy’s birthday is June 02, 2018.
She is potty and leash trained.
She can be free fed or be on a meal time schedule.
She does not have food aggression.
Has never shown any aggression at all.
Does not bark often.
Very friendly and Confident.
Remy gets along great with all the doxies here.
She can sleep just fine in a crate alone or with a pal.
She is microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccines and yearly physical. (2022).
She is a shaded cream long-haired doxie weighing approx. 9-10 Lb.
(AKC papers will not be included.)
Only needs a bath and brushing every 3-4 weeks if not playing in dirt.
Remy is well loved and taken care of. I know she will make whoever adopts her very happy.
She is schuduled to be spayed on April 27, 2022 with a teeth cleaning.
(More information on that during phone interview.)
Her soulful eyes speak volumes.
She is the most extraordinary little girl with all her cuddles.
Remy does get a little motion sick, so it would need to be a home
where the family understood this and would plan accordingly.
Typically I just don’t have her eat the morning of a drive and just bring a
small bag for her just in case with a few items like paper towels, baggie and wipes.
I also play JJ Heller or baby Mozart when we drive and I let her have cool air on her face.
She would not do well with excessive traveling.
Here is Remy’s back story as best as I know. Like me, my very good childhood friend has
dachshunds with a big heart for her fur babies. Over the years, she has asked me to help with
her dachshund puppy adoptions. It has been an honor to be a part of these puppy/
family connections. Last Oct. (2021) she was given the opportunity to adopt Remy from
another breeder. I believe Remy had 1 or 2 litters of puppies before my friend adopted
her. She did not have puppies with my friend or I. The original breeder (who I will keep
anonymous) must have been very kind to Remy but probably did ignore the fact that
Remy needed some attention to her oral care and teeth cleaning.
When my friend adopted her, she thought she might like to
breed her once and keep a puppy since she is so gorgous and sweet.
(She also named her Remy which is much easier to say than her very long AKC name.)
After the two of us talked, we both felt another pregnancy might not be best for Remy.
I flew to Texas at the beginning of this year (2022) with my son and brought Remy
here to live with us so that I could assess her before her adoption to her forever home.
She has been a joy. Absolutely no problem at all.
I know Remy would make an incredible family friend.
Remy has so much love and cuddles to give. I also believe would be
an amazing emotional support to someone that has experienced loss.
I would like to see her in her forever loving home soon so that
she could settle in and know “her people”.
I am open to her being adopted with the right family at any time but plan to be very
selective with who that family will be. I want the best for not only Remy
but the family as well and will wait until I feel it is the perfect fit.
Feel free to now fill out the questionnaire if you would like to be considered.
With Gratitude,
Becky J. DeLorenzo

Story Written from Clyde's new mommy:
"October 16th, 2019"
The day I met my new mommy and daddy at my puppyhood house in Moreno Valley, and I was just 7 weeks and 2 days old. I didn’t believe love at first sight until I met my new mama. She held me so gently, but I could feel we bonded so tightly right there and then on. Nonetheless, saying good-bye to mama Becky and my sisters wasn’t easy. They were asleep so I left quietly not to wake them, but I sure hoped they would all fall in love with their new fams just as I did. Kisses and well wishes in their new journey home. I will remember our first 7 weeks together forever, and thank you everyone. The ride to my new home was exciting and nervous, but I was mostly sleepy...cuz I’m still a puppy and need lots of sleepies, ya know? I dreamt about my birth mama Athena and my dad Maverick and thanked them for giving birth to me. I will miss them and hope to grow stttrrrong and beautiful like them. I’m beyond excited about my new life in Dana Point with these two and my new sis, Bonnie!!!
Let’s see how my life unfolds!"

Family update: “Clyde had a great ride home, just a little whining but slept like an angel. He drank some water when he got home and met Bonnie. I think he’s a little scared of her and wants to be held when she’s around. He’s had a long ride home and so sleepy. Bonnie’s having a great day so far with so many treats and lots of praises around Clyde.” Oct. 16, 2019

Juan “Prince William” sure is loved already. July 1, 2018
Awesome News Update!! We had a few scares with Hildy “Aurora”, but she is doing so much better. Even better is that Alley and Hildy have a wonderful life ahead of them coming mid summer 2018. I am so excited to know they will have so many more special memories in their new home together with the most amazing family! We will miss you Alley girl, but I know how much you will love being with your girl forever. Beyond thankful.
